The correct answer is B) fasle because for this to form a triangle it has to equalmore than 16 and 9+7=16. So, this does in fact not make a triangle and is False.

According to the triangle inequality theorem the sum of 2 given sides of a triangle have to be greater than the 3rd side.

AB + BC = 23, 23 > 9

AB + CA = 25, 25 > 7

BC + CA = 16, 16 = 16

As you can see, the some of the last 2 sides is equal to the lenght of the 3rd side, which means a triangle can't be formed with these segments.
