Firstly , we will find length of sides
we can use distance formula
[tex] d=\sqrt{(x_2-x_1)^2+(y_2-y_1)^2} [/tex]
where (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) are two points
For AB:
A (-3,7), B (2,7)
[tex] AB=\sqrt{(7-7)^2+(2+3)^2} [/tex]
[tex] AB=5 [/tex]
we know that
area of square = side*side
so, we can find area
[tex] Area=AB^2 [/tex]
[tex] Area=5*5 [/tex]
[tex] Area=25 [/tex].............Answer
