For second question we have to find [tex] tan\Theta [/tex]

In right triangle ABC as show in attachment,

[tex] tan\Theta = \frac{opposite side}{adjacent side} = \frac{AB}{BC} [/tex]----(1)

Now AB is given by distance of point A from x axis which will be given by its y - coordinate. So [tex] AB = \frac{1}{2} [/tex]

Similarly BC is the distance of point A from y axis (horizontal distance ) and that will be given by x coordinate of A. So [tex] BC = \frac{\sqrt{3}}{2} [/tex]

Plug these values in equation (1)

[tex] tan\Theta = \frac{AB}{BC} = \frac{\frac{1}{2}}{\frac{\sqrt{3}}{2}} [/tex]

To divide fractions we flip (reciprocal ) bottom fraction and multiply it to top fraction as shown

[tex] tan\Theta = \frac{1}{2} \times \frac{2}{\sqrt{3}} [/tex]

Now 2 in top and bottom cancels out so we are left with

[tex] tan\Theta = \frac{1}{\sqrt{3}} [/tex]

so thats the final answer for [tex] tan\Theta[/tex]
