Why do radio telescopes convert radio waves (analog signals) to electrical (digital) signals for analysis?

Respuesta :

Radio telescopes are devices used to capture radio light waves, bring it to focus, overdraw it and and use the data for processing and analysis. These devices are also used to study naturally occurring celestial bodies. Radio telescopes are telescopes that are specially designed for observation of long light wavelengths. These radio light waves, that are raw analog signals are converted into digital signal so as to create and distinguish fine details in the universe. This property is known as angular resolution. This will enable the operator to produce a high resolution view of the sky to be used for astronomical studies and observations.
