Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin that is mainly found in fruits and vegetables. Orange juice is one of the most recognized sources of vitamin C. Vitamin C is an unstable vitamin and it oxidizes when it comes into contact with air. If Vitamin C content in the fruit juices are exposed for one day, the fruit juices will come in contact with oxygen and this would result in complete loss of vitamin C. Consumption of the uncovered fruit juices will not benefit the body anymore, because the vitamin C cannot be retained due to its exposure to air.
