  • The Haitian revolution was a revolt against slavery and colonial rule in the French colony of Saint-Domingue.
  • The revolt struggled to get free from their masters and to get freedom and equal rights.
  • Haiti Revolution broke out in 1791 with Toussaint Louverture as a leader.  
  • The American Revolution was a war between colonies and Great British in 1776.
  • The independence war was fought for colonists rights economically and politically.

Therefore we can conclude that there were differences in both revolutions as both fought for different reasons.
