The reaction H2SO4 + 2 NaOH -> Na2SO4 + 2H2O applies to an acid-base tritration. The equivalence point occurs when 33.23 mL of 0.2194 M NaOH is added to a 43.34 mL portion of H2SO4. Calculate the original [H2SO4].

Respuesta :

            moles NaOH = c · V = 0.2194 mmol/mL · 33.23 mL = 7.290662 mmol
            moles H2SO4 = 7.290662 mmol NaOH · 1 mmol H2SO4 / 2 mmol NaOH = 3.645331 mmol
Hence
            [H2SO4]= n/V = 3.645331 mmol / 43.34 mL = 0.08411 M
The answer to this question is  [H2SO4] = 0.08411 M
