A drawer contains nine white paper clips five green paper clips and six red paper clips one paper clip is selected at random what is the probability that the paperclip is white given that it is not red?

Respuesta :

Judging on the question I realized to find the probability of finding a white paperclip would be a fraction.
The numerator of the fraction should be (9) white paperclips. The denominator of the fraction should be (20) the TOTAL amount of paperclips (white+green+red).
The fraction should be 9/20. or 45%
