Had Nico kept the same pace and volume for the entirety of his presentation, it would certainly have been more effective. He spoke louder and faster when showing pictures of animals in need of rescuing, and that was certainly a mistake, since at that particular moment the audience was supposed to be paying attention to the pictures, and not to Nico, which means he should not be speaking louder in a presumed attempt to draw attention to himself, which was obviously distracting. In other words, Nico should have kept a steady pace and volume throughout the presentation, especially at crucial moments.
