How would playing a game of soccer, baseball, or basketball be different if inertia didn’t exist?

If inertia didn't exist, the ball would never stop moving until someone initiates a force onto it as stated by Newton's first law; "an object in motion stays in motion unless acted upon by an unbalanced force".
