The answer is Type1 muscle fibers. They
are also referred to as slow-twitch fibers/ Red-Slow. Different skeletal muscles have different skeletal
muscle fibers with different properties depending on the role of the muscle. Endurance muscles are usually
made of Type I skeletal muscle fibers
while rapid movement muscles are mainly
composed of Type II. Type I have a dense capillary network hence the low
susceptibility to muscle fatigue.
