You you have to pick between 3 major happenings.
1. He isn't bullied.
2. He has interesting classes.
3. He met new people he liked. 2 soccer types (although one is rather quite, but he's willing to look into sharing their common interest in horror movies) and one girl who is smart, but she's interested in him. She's sort of social.
If I were a teen, I would think the 3 rd choice is the most important. He's picked good kids that even his parents would approve of (especially Gina, since his father works with hers).
The friends part is what I'd pick.
