angle alpha+angle theta=90-------> by complementary angles
then
cos theta=sin alpha

in the right triangle EDC
angle beta+angle theta=90------->  by complementary angles
then
sin beta=cos theta

therefore
sin beta=sin alpha

the answer part a) is
cos space theta space equals space 2 over 3
sin space beta space equals space 2 over 3

we know that
if A and B are complementary angles
A+B=90
°------> B=90-A
and
sin A=cos B
sin  A= cos (90-A)
