The first choice is the least objectionable one.

The moon causes the Earth to wobble as it rotates.

Well, kind of, but not exactly.  The Earth wobbles as the moon REVOLVES
in its orbit.
That's because the moon doesn't revolve around the center of the Earth.
Actually, the earth and the moon BOTH revolve around their mutual center
of gravity.

The moon is the smallest satellite in the solar system.
No, not at all.  It's one of the largest in absolute terms.
And compared to its planet, it's by far the largest natural satellite
in the whole solar system.
In fact, if there are alien astronomers out there, observing the sun
and its family, then they most likely call the Earth and the moon a
"twin planet".

As a moon wanes, the size of its illuminated surface gets smaller.
No. The size of the moon's illuminated surface never changes ... it's always
50% of the whole moon.  The only reason the lit-up part appears to change
is that we usually can't SEE the whole lit-up part from where we are.

The phases of the moon are caused by its synchronous rotation.
No.  The phases of the moon are caused by how much of the lit-up part
we can SEE from where we are.

I know that the other is verified but its not right the answer is C I just did the lesson.
