The USA PATRIOT Act means “Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism which was taken into law on October 26, 2001 by President George W. Bush. The act became a timely response of America to the devastating September 11 and 2001 anthrax attacks which resulted to grieving families and divided nations and as well creating stereotypes.The acronym meaning was made by Chris Cylke a former House of Judiciary Committee staff.
