The answer is "a strict liability offense"

A strict liability offense is a type of offense where the defendants can be convicted even with an absence of criminal intent, which makes it "strict". Hope this helps! :)
Hey there!

Having consensual sexual relations with a minor (18 years and under), is considered a STRICT LIABILITY crime/offense.

The offender may go to jail up to 1-20 years.

10-20 years if the offender is AGE 21+

LESS THAN 1 year if the offender is 14-15 years, or is less than three years older than the "victim".

Hope this helps!
