 The impact of Greece and Rome on western civilization is mainly on philosophy and arts.Medieval scholars were heavily inspired by classical literature of philosophers such as Aristotle,Plato and Socrates. in addition, medieval arts that was popular in Gothic churches and cathedrals was heavily influenced by classical arts during the renaissance.

Arts was also a great development in this period because it developed some stage plays. Philosophy was the most influential in this era because it gave people some beliefs of themselves.
