Prior to World War II, Japan invaded Manchuria in 1931 and the rest of China in 1937 under the leadership of A) Tsuda Yukio B) Ruler Takahira C) Emperor Mikoto D) Emperor Hirohito

Respuesta :

D. Emperor Hirohito

Hirohito was Japan's longest-reigning emperor, holding the throne from 1926 to 1989. He was a controversial figure who announced Japan's surrender to the Allied Forces in 1945.

The Japanese invasion of Manchuria began on 18 September 1931, when the Kwantung Army of the Empire of Japan invaded Manchuria immediately following the Mukden Incident. The Japanese established the puppet state of Manchukuo, and their occupation lasted until Soviet Union and Mongolia launched the Manchurian Strategic Offensive Operation in 1945.
