For this activity, you will take all of the skills and information you’ve learned and researched to this point to design a full-featured PowerPoint presentation outlining the new product or service your company is developing, including its product-market fit and your marketing plan.
This is your capstone project for the course, and while you can go in many directions with it, your presentation should include the following content:
It should explain your company’s new product or service.
It should identify and list potential target markets and decide on one niche market to focus on.
It should include a list of your chosen target market’s likes, interests, demographics, etc.
It should make an argument for how the product or service will satisfy the needs of that target market.
It should include a competitive analysis map.
It should identify the medium you will be using for your marketing campaign, such as pamphlets or online advertising, and why that medium will reach your target market.
Your presentation should meet the following technical elements:
Appropriate transitions and animations.
At least one infographic.
(Hint: Create an infographic in PowerPoint to promote your product or service. Use the portrait orientation by selecting Design Tab > Custom Slide > Portrait. Your infographic must contain at least:
one SmartArt graphic
one chart from spreadsheet data
one graph from spreadsheet data
a bulleted list
convincing text
three images
A cover slide with the company logo.
It MAY include audio effects, video links, or other images, where appropriate.
Your presentation should also meet the following criteria in terms of professionalism:
It should be suitable for a presentation that lasts between 10 and 15 minutes.
A professional-looking design.
It should be appropriate for an audience of marketing professionals who work for your company.
