An organization is interested in the analysis of 2 products x and y which can be produced from the idle time of labour , machine and investment time. labour requirement of x and y products was 4 and 5 units respectively and the total available labour hours was 48. only x required machine hour utilization of 1 hour per unit and at present only 10 machine hours are available. y product needs 1 unit investment per unit and the daily availsbility of the investment time is 12 units. according to the marketing departments the sales pontential of x products bcannot exceed 7 units. x products can be soldat a profit of ksh 6 and y products at a profit of ksh 10 per unit. formulate the problem of the linear programing model and determine the units of x and y to be produced to maximize profits and to maximum profit
