As a SPP consultant, you have been referred a student athlete who is having some problems with his athletic and academic performance. As you talk with him during session, you can tell that he is depressed and highly anxious. As you try to understand what diagnosis may fit him most appropriately, he tells you that everything started to go down hill after he was in a car accident. Even though he was not hurt, he started to have intrusive memories, flashbacks, and nightmares. He's been having a hard time concentrating, and is always on edge like something bad may happen to him. You also notice he avoids driving or going places. According to your clinical knowledge, you suspect he may have:
a) social anxiety disorder
b) panic disorder
c) PTSD
d) depression
