How to calculate the concentration of standard or unknown protein (μg/ml) Standard protein solution: 500 µg bovine serum albumin (BSA) per mL
a) Subtract the absorbance of the blank from the absorbance of the sample, then use the standard curve to determine the concentration.
b) Divide the mass of the protein by the volume of the solution.
c) Multiply the absorbance of the sample by the dilution factor, then divide by the molar absorptivity.
d) Measure the fluorescence emitted by the protein solution and compare it to a standard curve.
