It is expected that students will be able to demonstrate and clearly explain muscle testing and corrections for 1 of the following 6 hip assessments: Passive Hip Flexion Passive Medial Rotation Passive Lateral Rotation Passive Hip Abduction Passive Hip Adduction Popliteal Angle (Hamstrings) There will also be a short written test consisting of 12 short answer questions. The first 6 questions will be about the passive range of motion you are trying to achieve with each hip assessment and the other 6 will be on hip joint function tests. LENGTH 15 minutes DUE DATE This test will be conducted in the last part of session 3 in week 3.
