Scenario: Jackson Wright wanted to sell his coin collection (assessed value of $25,000). Jackson contacted Ken Wrong who had sold stamp and coin collections for others, and he instructed Ken to sell the collection to anyone willing to pay at least $22,500 (20 percent commission to Ken, plus any reasonably incurred expenses). Lindsey More was interested in the collection, and she asked Ken (who told her he was acting as Jackson's agent) whether the collection had all the coins issued during the reign of Queen Victoria. Ken told her that it did; he didn't know whether that was true or not, but it sounded good. Lindsey learned a few days later from a reputable dealer that any collection having all the issues during Victoria's reign would be worth $25,000 alone (which was true). Lindsey bought the collection for $24,000. Two weeks after the
