Our last three plays (Fences, Anna in the Tropics, and Sweat) have all dealt with the idea of the American Dream for different groups of people.
In this discussion board post, compare and contrast the approaches of the authors. What is each play saying about this idea? How is that dream different for each group of characters? How is it the same? Taken together, what might these stories tell us about being working-class in America?
