Depression paper
Students will:
describe the medical condition in lay terms and use proper terminology (include information on onset, symptoms, causes, degree, progression, prevalence, potential prognosis etc);
describe the potential functional capacity and limitations associated with the condition;
discuss treatments, strategies, assistive devices available to reduce the limitations, and any common co-exiting conditions that can be frequently associated with the illness/disability;
discuss psychosocial factors of the condition that impact the individual and/or family members, and
discuss vocational implications and rehabilitation potential.
