With the current trend of “pistol” cartridges being used in carbines 16” and longer and “rifle” cartridges being used in pistols 8” and shorter, do you think more ammunition manufacturers will begin to offer loads tuned to specific applications (i.e. faster burning propellants in rifle cartridges or slower burning propellants in pistol cartridges)? What issues do you see arising if manufacturers were to begin offering different loads of the same caliber for different applications?
