The Gyro Drop includes two phases. During the freefall phase
the passenger ring is released from the tower and falls under
the force of gravity.
Halfway down the braking phase starts applying a force to bring
the vehicle to a safe stop at the bottom. The Gyro drop employs
a magnetic braking system to slow the vehicle. Magnetic
braking systems are fail-safe because they don't need to be
powered by electricity but work intrinsically by the laws of
magnetism.
