Allison: Hey Joey! What are you bringing to the party on Allison: Hey Joey! What are you bringing to the party on Saturday?
Joey: What party? I wasn’t invited to a party this weekend.
Allison: Oh, I’m sorry—for some reason, I thought Jason said you would be there. It’s going to be super fun. Do you want to come with me? I’m sure I can bring you along!
Joey: Yeah, I guess—oh, hold on—I need to take this phone call.
*Joey speaks on the phone for about two minutes.*
Joey: Sorry about that. So what were you saying?
Allison: Oh my gosh, have you heard about what Mr. Bender said during trigonometry class this morning? Megan just texted me about it. Anyways, what was I saying…
Joey: Um, about the party on Saturday?
Allison: Oh, right! Do you want to come with me?
Joey: Yeah, that sounds fun.
Allison: Okay, great! I wasn’t going to go, but then Alyssa convinced me when she said that there was a pool! I just don’t know what to bring, since Mike said to bring food. I went to the grocery store, but I didn’t really find anything. What do you think? I was thinking just chips or something.
Joey: Yeah, I think chips would be fine. I can bring some salsa if you want.
Allison: That would be great! Hey, I have to go. I’ll see you on Saturday!
Joey: What time are you—
Allison: Gotta go! Text you later!
