Observe the night sky and identify any three prominent stars or pattern of stars. Pick one that is in the eastern sky, another overhead, and a third in the western sky. Note their position in the sky in the table below. You can also use some prominent landmark such as a tree or a building as a reference point. Observe them after two four-hour intervals and note the change in their position in the night sky. Fill in your observations in the table.
