Is it ethical ? Jason is a correctional officer who will be testifying at an inmate's parole hearing
The inmate's family lives in the same neighborhood as Jason, and brings over
some cookies while Jason is home and tells him they hope Jason will make the
right decision at the hearing. Jason decides not to take the cookies from the family
himself, and instead asks his wife to accept the cookies.
