I have been tasked with reading Toxic Discourse by Lawrence Buell, and then describing how the elements of toxic discourse are used in other works that I've read throughout the quarter. I have now read through toxic discourse, but I am having a hard time explicitely defining the four elements of toxic discourse, which makes me feel unsure about identifying them in my other readings. I was hoping someone who has read this could help me define them. Here are the elements of toxic discourse:
