Looking out the shuttle window, everything was black. The
surface of the moon came into view, and they could make out a
large dent in the soft rock. It was a crater, which had the
entrance to the housing module in its center.
"It looks pretty spooky out there," said Jennifer.
"What day is it on the moon?" asked Allen's father.
"One day on the Moon lasts fourteen of our days," said the
captain. "So you'll really be here only two moon days, instead of
twenty-eight Earth days."
