I'm on a Windows Server 2008 R2 x64 machine that handles DHCP.
Last week I began to set up DHCP reservations for clients by MAC address. For some reservations, I'm unable to add them, receiving the error "The specified address is not available". If I hit OK and try again, I'll receive "The specified IP address or hardware address is being used by another client."
Sometimes after this, I'll see a nameless reservation for the IP/MAC I made but it doesn't actually function.
On the client machine that I'm trying to create a reservation for, the IP is stuck at 0.0.0.0. ipconfig release/renew doesn't help.
