1. Buddhism is sometimes practiced in conjunction with other religions. For example as you will learn later in the course, in Japan it is common for a person to be both Buddhist and Shinto. What aspects of Buddhism seem compatible with additional religions? What aspects do not?
2. Research a predominantly Buddhist country. How has Buddhism affected the culture of this society?
