Create one symmetrical (normal) and one asymmetrical set of data, and explain why each fits the definition. Knowing the type of distribution and the skewness of the data, is it possible to draw conclusions about the mean and the median? Why would it be best to use particular measures of center and spread if the data is symmetrical or asymmetrical? What measures would you use in each case?
