First, choose one of the assessment options listed below to explain the impact of globalization
on the United States economy, politics, society, and its role in the world. Be sure to use specific
examples from recent history or current events to support your explanations. Using the
American automobile industry as a case study, evaluate how globalization has impacted that
specific industry, and at least one secondary industry which has been affected by the changes in
the automobile industry. Sticking with the American automobile industry, provide at least two
suggestions for mitigating the issues and negative impacts of globalization, and include how the
change might cause a ripple effect globally and within the United States.

brief history of the event or thing, the historical and current impact on aspects of American and
global society, important people involved with your selection, and how you see your selection

employment and wage equity, and equitable access to resources such as healthy food
and safe housing
