describe the progressive ideals for political reform presented. Integrate at least 2 specific tools of
direct democracy besides the initiative process. Explain what those 2 reforms are and how each
one reflects a progressive ideal and what you think of them. Have you used or participated in
these ways?
Finally, assess the success of the initiative as reviewed in the Part III video and also Scarpelli's
California textbook. What are both positives and not so positives in the past century about this
process?
