1. Cindy is a phlebotomist working the morning shift at the local hospital. Though she is
normally well rested and ready for work, this morning she is feeling tired and irritable.
Her 2-year-old son had a stomachache and kept her up most of the night. Her first patient
is a 22-year-old male with a bad attitude. When she attempts to explain that she is going
to obtain blood for testing, he sneers at her and asks, "You and what army?" Cindy snaps
back at him, "I didn't order these tests, your doctor did. Now, hold still!"
