Cellular Transport Activity
1. Cells generate a high amount of Carbon Dioxide (CO₂), a small uncharged
molecule, in the process of creating ATP, an energy molecule. In order for
new ATP to be made, the CO₂ must be removed from the cell as soon as
possible. What type of cellular transport is the most likely way cells remove
CO₂? Justify your response. Describe how this process occurs.
