The asteroid came upon them suddenly, glancing off the spaceship's
starboard side and bouncing into the distance. Then another, and
another. It was a storm. Captain Peters summoned the crew: one to
the bridge, another to the rear. Now the asteroids were hitting two and
three at a time, hurling themselves at full speed, leaving damage in
their wake.
