“The Interlopers” - Creative Writing Assignment
For this assignment, we are going to shift gears from analytical writing, to creative writing. I want you to pretend that Saki (the author of “The Interlopers”) has handed you the pen and paper where he ended the story, and asked you to continue writing. I want you to write an extended ending to this story as an author, continuing the third-person omniscient point of view that the narrator is already speaking in (this means the narrator knows the details as if they were there when the events took place, but weren’t actually present).
This should be: ¾ of a page to a whole page long, Times New Roman font, size 12, double spaced.
