Qualia
One of the terms that I wasn't able to fully grasp was the idea of qualia. In the AVL it defines it as
"the qualitative aspect of consciousness, which can not be reduced to physical properties alone." I
know previously in this same AVL that it talks about how Descartes said that extensive doubt can be
linked to the mathematical physics of quantity, position, motion, duration, and extension. Something
I need more clarification on though is what they are talking about when they say physical properties.
Is this referring to our environment or is it more than that?
