Tense Conversion: Change the Simple Aspect to the Continuous Aspect

Each semester, students take classes to pursue their goal of earning a degree. Some students
attend morning classes, but evening classes have higher numbers of students enrolled. They might take
a class in a new modality, for example, online or hybrid. Students get used to these new ways of
learning. Most students try hard to earn high grades.
Every student knows that he or she has a Guided Pathways Advisor who works with them. It is
the middle of the semester, so students have attended classes for several weeks. Most prepare to take
some type of midterm assessment in their classes. Each student needs to think about the classes for
next semester. A student looks forward to the next semester at the same time as he or she makes
progress in the current semester. Time flies by!
