Understanding requirements and implementing solutions for ADA compliance and other accessibility factors is a skill that takes practice and research. Use your favorite browser to do some more research on ADA compliance and then find a website for any design school. It can be a high school or college. Here are some questions to keep in mind when exploring the site for accessibility features. Do the videos have captions?
Can the text be read easily by a screen reader?
Is there an option for the site to read the text aloud, even without an official screen reader?
When you hover over an image, does an alt text field pop up? Does it include text that describes the image to a visually impaired person?
What about the contrast of the images and text on the page?
Could a color-blind person read everything and fully participate in the experience?
Did you notice anything else that makes the site compliant with ADA items or helps the visitor in other ways?
