An automobile is traveling on a long straight highway at a steady 33.5 m/s when the driver sees a wreck 150m ahead on the side of the road. At that instant, she applies the brakes (ignore reaction time). Between her and the wreck are two different surfaces. First there is 100m of ice, where her deceleration is only 1m/s^2. From then on she is on dry concrete, where her deceleration is a more normal 7m/s^2.
a) What was her speed just after leaving the icy portion of the road?
b) How much total distance does it take her to stop?
c) What is the total time it took her to stop?

I just need b and c!! The answers are given but I can't figure out how to get to them.
