1. Given the issues raised in debate rages over the Jesus seminar by Matt andrews, do you think that we should look at
the Gospels specifically and the New Testament more generally as an historical
source, a religious source, or some mixture of both? In other words, do you thing
the Gospels and New Testament offer historically factual information, reveal more
religious truths, or do they do some combination of these two things? Explain and
support your answer.
